Banana & Honey Pancake Letters

It's been a long old while since my last post.  There are 2 very small but very demanding reasons for this and their names are Alexa and Saskia.

Having twins is a totally and utterly crazy experience and since their arrival my life has gone quite bonkers.  I love them more than I could have ever imagined but wow, they are hard work.

Vanilla Heart Biscuits

Finally I am back in the kitchen after the arrival of our beautiful baby daughters Alexa and Saskia.  They were born, 2 months early, in May.  They were both so tiny but absolutely perfect and I'm a very happy Mummy.

16 weeks on and I am surfacing from the world of sleepless nights. For the last couple of weeks they have both slept through with only a 'dream feed' at 11pm.

Chocolate Chip & Peanut Butter Brownies

After a rather lengthy break from blogging, we are finally back!

I actually made these yummy chocolate brownies way back in November last year when my sister Katie, aka Auntie Grubs, had a firework party for Guy Fawkes night.  There was much Oooohing and Ahhhhing over both fireworks and brownies! They went down a treat and received lots of compliments so I was really excited to write up my post, however…

Halloween Butternut Squash and Carrot Soup

I’m not sure that Oscar is especially pleased about the prospect of Halloween coming around again.  Despite loving his pumpkin, he really didn’t think much of the trick or treaters last year and for the following week would run away to hide when ever there was a knock at the door! This year he is greeting the festivities with caution and if anyone mentions the word ‘spooky,’ he’s off to hide!

He is however looking forward to shopping for his pumpkin, which we will do at Priory Farm with Gran on Wednesday  – they have a big barn full of pumpkins to choose from, so I have no doubt we will be coming home with the biggest!

White Chocolate Frozen Yoghurt

Time flies when you are having fun and it’s absolutely true, because amazingly Nick and I have now been married for ten whole years!

It really has been that long since we walked out of the church into beautiful sunshine (having spent the morning looking out at sheeting rain) and now we are looking forward to the next ten years.
